Piramal Pharma Limited has received on April 18, 2024 an order from the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Thane South, levying damages of INR 1,120,932 under section 14B of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952 for failing to pay the pension dues and other allied charges within the stipulated time as prescribed under the Act for the period August 2020 to August 2022. The company is currently assessing said Order and will take appropriate steps (including appeal, if necessary) within the stipulated timeframe. The said Order does not have any material impact on financials, operation or other activities of the Company.
