Farmsintez PAO (Farmsintez OJSC) is a Russia-based company, which is engaged in the pharmaceutical sector. The Company focuses on the medical research, development and manufacture of drugs ingredients used in oncology, gynecology, tuberculosis therapy and others. In addition, Farmsintez OAO offers chemical research services, chemical technology development and quality control services. The Company sells its products domestically, as well as abroad, including the Commonwealth of Independence State (CIS) countries. It has two wholly owned subsidiaries located in Moscow and Tallin, Estonia. As of May 21, 2011, the Companyâs major shareholder was EphaG AS with a stake of 69.23%. In April 2013, the Company acquired the pharmacies of Guardum Pharmaceuticals in the U.S. state of Florida.
