Pernod Ricard has announced the signing of an agreement for the sale of its strategic international wine brands to Australian Wine Holdco Limited (AWL), a consortium of international institutional investors which owns Accolade Wines.

This sale will enable the French alcoholic beverage giant to reinforce its premiumization strategy and focus on its portfolio of premium spirits and champagne brands, the driving force behind its growth.

The transaction involves a large portfolio of well-established international brands, representing an annual volume of 10 million nine-litre cases from three origins (Australia, New Zealand and Spain).

Pernod Ricard specifies that this transaction, which remains subject to the usual conditions, notably regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the second half of 2025.
