13:51 ET -- Binance is one of the most mentioned companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data. Financial technology firm Paxos Trust Co. was ordered by the New York State Department of Financial Services to stop creating more of Binance's dollar-pegged BUSD token, the cryptocurrency exchange said in a statement. Paxos also was sued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which labeled the Binance stablecoin an unregistered security. Paxos' blockchain technology is used by PayPal, raising questions about the online payments giant's plans for digital assets. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva. (susan.solan@wsj.com)
