Appointment of General Counsel and Executive General Manager, Company Secretariat, Risk and Governance

Origin today announced the appointment of Kate Jordan as General Counsel, and Executive General Manager, Company Secretariat, Risk and Governance.

Kate will report to CEO, Frank Calabria, as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, with responsibility for legal, risk and internal audit as well as the Company Secretariat.

Mr Calabria said, 'Kate is a welcome addition to Origin's leadership team. Her extensive corporate advisory and commercial experience will be critically important in what is increasingly a fast-moving and competitive industry landscape.'

Kate is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Partner with Clayton Utz, including responsibility for People and Development. Kate holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce from the Australian National University.

Kate will commence with Origin on 2 March 2020.
