Ocean Plastics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,089.761 million compared to TWD 1,195.684 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 67.130 million compared to operating loss of TWD 27.139 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 125.761 million compared to net loss of TWD 22.031 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.57 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.97 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,174.709 million compared to TWD 2,225.349 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 39.974 million compared to operating loss of TWD 50.945 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 427.998 million compared to TWD 8.958 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.39 compared to TWD 0.04 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.94 compared to TWD 0.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.93 compared to TWD 0.04 a year ago.
