Norsk Hydro : Hydro virtually doubles extrusion sites with ASI certification

ASI's Performance Standard recognizes the responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium.
'Many people have put a lot of work into this. I am very pleased. But we need to keep moving forward with ASI certification because we are seeing requirements that we didn't see before,' says executive vice president Egil Hogna, who leads Hydro's Extruded Solutions business area.
'More customers want sustainable materials from certified suppliers.'
Ahead in the aluminium extrusion industry
Hydro now has 31 aluminium extrusion and fabrication facilities certified according to the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative's (ASI) Performance Standard. The newly certified sites are:
