NIZHNEKAMSKNEFTEKHIM Measures aimed at energy and resources saving are being implemented at the Synthetic Rubber Plant at PJSC 'Nizhnekamskneftekhim'.
As part of the introduction of the latest developments, a positive effect is already achieved thanks to the installation of high-speed automatic backup power supply on-switching devices at the sub-stations in compressor sections for gas separation, extractive distillation and sections for cleaning of isopentane -isoprene fraction, butadiene, styrene, batch and catalyst preparation sections. These devices allow to avoid emergency shutdowns of the process equipment in case of voltage drop in the external power supply net-work.
Installation of high-speed automatic backup power supply on-switching devices at the Company is being carried out since 2012.
