NickelSearch Limited announced the implementation of a board succession plan following the retirement of David Royle and resignation of Donald James. This includes the upcoming appointment of Mark Connelly as the company's new independent Non-Executive Chair and Lynda Burnett as Non-Executive Director, effective 3 April 2023. Mark is an experienced listed-company Chair and brings a wealth of leadership experience in the resources industry.

He has direct operational and capital markets experience in various jurisdictions, including Australia, North America, South America, Africa, and Europe. Following a thorough search process, Mark has been appointed as the Chair of the Board, succeeding David Royle who advised of his desire to retire at the end of 2022. Dave will step down from his role as Non-Executive Chair on 3 April 2023.

Lynda is a geologist with over 30 years' experience in the mining industry. She has held a variety of roles with major and junior mining companies and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Regis Resources Limited and a Member of the Australian Government's Advisory Panel for Critical Minerals. Until recently, Lynda was Chair of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Centre for Exploration Targeting based at the University of WA.

With Dave's retirement, Donald James has also notified of his resignation effective also on 3 April 2023, which will allow him to focus on his executive commitments and ensure that the NickelSearch Board composition continues at an appropriate size and diversity in skills. Mark Connelly: Mark has an outstanding track record of shareholder value growth and realisation, particularly over the last decade. This includes the development and eventual sale of Papillon Resources for approximately USD 570 million, and the USD 597 million consolidation of Endeavour Mining with Adamus Resources.

Currently, Mark is the Chairman of Western Australian gold producer Calidus Resources; as well as Chairman of Chesser Resources, Alto Metals Limited and Warriedar Resources Limited. He was previously the Chairman of West African Resources Ltd. and a director of B2 Gold Ltd, Saracen Minerals Ltd. and Ausdrill Ltd. Mark is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM) and a member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). Lynda Burnett: Lynda has extensive executive experience with major and junior mining companies, most recently with Sipa Resources as Managing Director for six years.

Prior to Sipa, Lynda spent nine years with Newmont Asia Pacific from 2005-2013 as Director Exploration Australia and Manager Exploration Business Development with responsibility for the strategic planning, management and oversight of all Newmont's generative exploration projects and brownfields exploration projects. Prior to her roles at Newmont, she worked with a number of mining and exploration companies including Normandy, Newcrest, Plutonic Resources and as an executive director of Summit Resources Ltd. Lynda holds an Honours degree in geology from Queensland University, and is a member of AusIMM, the Society of Economic Geologists and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
