BEIJING (AP) _ New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. (EDU) on Wednesday reported a loss of $189.3 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

The Beijing-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to 9 cents per share.

The educational services provider posted revenue of $524 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $1.19 billion, or 70 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $3.11 billion.

For the current quarter ending in September, New Oriental said it expects revenue in the range of $641.3 million to $680.6 million.
