NCC announced that it in partnership with Sigtunahem, will construct a new residential block at Sätuna torg in Märsta, Sigtuna Municipality. The project is a turnkey contract with an order value of approximately SEK 300 million. Sätuna torg is located in central Märsta.

The construction of Stationshusen is the starting shot for the urban development that is being planned in the area adjacent to Märsta rail station. A new town square with a mix of rental units, tenant-owner apartments, commercial activities and services will emerge here. NCC's assignment involves the construction of 62 new rental units, 45 new tenant-owner apartments and 3,500 square meters of commercial space.

The apartments will range from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The apartments will be constructed in accordance with the Sweden Green Building Council, Silver level, and have low energy consumption, which will enable low operating and maintenance expenses. Construction will commence in the first quarter of 2022 and occupancy will begin in late 2024.

The assignment is valued at approximately SEK 300 million and will be registered among orders in the fourth quarter of 2021 in the NCC Building Sweden business area.
