Navneet Education Limited reported standalone unaudited earnings results for third quarter and nine months ended Dec. 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported total income from operations of INR 156.56 million compared to INR 112.92 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 138.3 million compared to INR 52.6 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 192.5 million compared to INR 103.5 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 126.4 million compared to INR 75.3 million a year ago. Earnings per share basic and diluted was INR 0.53 compared to INR 0.32 a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported total income from operations of INR 888.49 million compared to INR 746.38 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 211.68 million compared to INR 162.57 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 221.61 million compared to INR 176.03 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 144.78 million compared to INR 116.79 million a year ago. Earnings per share basic and diluted were INR 6.08 compared to INR 4.90 a year ago.
