Munich, March 17, 2020 - The Supervisory Board of MTU Aero Engines AG has extended the contracts of two of its Executive Board members - Peter Kameritsch, CFO and CIO, and Lars Wagner, COO - by five years through December 2025. The resolution was passed unanimously at today's Supervisory Board meeting. 'We are pleased to be able to continue our very good and successful working relationship with Peter Kameritsch and Lars Wagner,' said Klaus Eberhardt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Peter Kameritsch has been a member of the MTU Executive Board since January 2018, with responsibility for finance and IT. He holds degrees in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) and physics (Diplom-Physiker) and has been with MTU Aero Engines since 1999.

Lars Wagner, who has a degree in mechanical engineering (Diplom-Maschinenbauer) and an MBA, has been a member of the Executive Board and the company's COO since January 2018. He has been with MTU Aero Engines since 2015.
