METKA Industrial Construction : CONSTRUCTION BEGINS FOR NEW POWER PLANT IN GHANA

Further to the announcement dated 29 March 2016, concerning the EPC contract signing for a new power plant in Ghana with Amandi Energy, METKA is pleased to confirm that following financial closure of the project, the consortium METKA - General Electric has received the official notice to proceed with the construction of the 200MW combined cycle power plant in Takoradi. The project will be constructed in 28 months.

This is METKA's second major project in Ghana, and emphasizes the company's commitment to become a leading player in the sub-Saharan Africa power market.
