Mermaid A/S, formerly Mermaid Technology A/S, is a Denmark-based company that develops, produces and sells solutions for digital signage in the Northern Europe. It offers such products and services, as displays and signs, as well as software, which allows control of the computer screen from different locations. It is also engaged in the content production and produces television spots, template spots and web spots, among others. The Company's clients include corporate cusomers, such as restaurants, hotels and conference centers, retail stores, as well as public institutions and companies active within the travel sector. The Company operates in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's subsidiaries included Mermaid Technology AS, Mermaid Norway AS, Mermaid Sweden AB, Acrossmedia A/S and Mermaid Leasing ApS. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's largest shareholders were SDS Holding A/S, Utterslev ApS, Cemb ApS and AB Arvid Svensson.
