MegaMD Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A133750) agreed to acquire remaining 48% stake in MDNP Co., Ltd. for KRW 1.8 billion on July 12, 2019. MegaMD Co., Ltd. signed a merger agreement to acquire remaining 48% stake in MDNP Co., Ltd. on July 18, 2019. MegaMD Co., Ltd. will acquire 0.73 million shares and issue 0.77 million shares at a stock ratio of 1:0.9485481. The Board of MegaMD Co., Ltd. resolved the transaction on July 12, 2019. The transaction is expected to close on September 17, 2019. Samil Accounting Firm acted as the External Evaluation Body.
MegaMD Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the provision of educational services. The Company offers a range of educational programs, services and products including test preparation courses for medical education eligibility tests (MEETs), test preparation courses for dental education eligibility tests (DEETs), test preparation courses for pharmacy education eligibility tests (PEETs), test preparation courses for legal education eligibility tests (LEETs) and online education.
