MediaTek will demonstrate a wide range of new products and technologies at CES including its LTE modem and mobile SoC's as well as new Home Entertainment, Connectivity, Wireless Charging and Internet of Things solutions. MediaTek MT6290 is an LTE Release 9 Category 4 modem built on the 28nm process with a wireless baseband processor based on the Coresonic SIMT architecture. MT6290 is fully compatible with MediaTek SOCs, including the new octa-core MT6592.

Complemented by a highly optimized ARM(R) big.LITTLE(TM) processing subsystem, MediaTek MT8135 is an advanced mobile SOC designed for high-end tablets. As the first Ultra HD (4K2K) DTV SOC with 60Hz HEVC support, the MediaTek SOC begins sampling in the second quarter of 2014. Already available, MediaTek MT7621A is a new dual-core 11ac Wi-Fi router platform with various hardware acceleration features designed as a universal foundation for a range of applications.

MT7621A serves as a getaway for Wi-Fi Certified Passpoint(TM) technology and its secure automated entry of user credentials for public wireless hotspots. MediaTek presents the small SOC, currently powering Omate True Smart. Demonstrations on modules and integrations will Facebook and Yahoo are available.
