MBL 1st Mutual Fund (the Fund) is a mutual fund. The Fund invests in companies of different sectors and of diverse market capitalizations and in various fixed income securities. The objectives of the Fund are to give benefit to its unit-holders through achieving capital appreciation, as well as earning dividend and interest income from its investments. The Fund's investments are primarily made in quoted securities. The Fund focuses on outperforming the benchmark through long term capital appreciation. By investing predominantly in a diversified portfolio of common stocks, the Fund seeks a long-term rate of return. The Fund invests in a range of sectors, such as bank and financial institution; cement; engineering and miscellaneous; food and allied; fuel and power; insurance; mutual funds; pharmaceuticals; tannery; telecommunication, and textile. LR Global Bangladesh Asset Management Company Ltd manages the operations of the Fund.
