(L-R) Dominik Tanner, Head of Project Business for Hansgrohe Deutschland GmbH and Carola Husemann, Key Account Manager for Hansgrohe Deutschland GmbH accepted the "Architects' Darling" award in gold in the category of "Sanitation Fittings."

Hansgrohe SE, the bathroom and shower specialist from the Black Forest, won Gold in November at the Architects' Darling Awards 2013 in the "Sanitation Fittings" category. A panel of judges also bestowed the Bronze award for the "Best Social Media Presence" on Hansgrohe. This means that Hansgrohe's communication effort using Internet media is considered the best within the sanitation industry.

The Architects' Darling Awards are hosted annually by the company Heinze Marktforschung, the leading market research company in the construction sector, and are considered the "Oscars of the construction sector". The award winners in the 24 product categories are determined in a nationwide poll of architects. Around 2000 planners [in the field of architecture and professional interior design] participated in 2013, voting for their favorites among the 200 participating companies.

Dominik Tanner, Head of Project Business Germany, and Carola Husemann, Key Account Manager, accepted the award at a ceremony in Celle. "We're really thrilled to receive this award. It confirms just how much architects and planners value the high quality and durability of our products, as well as our sound technical advice and custom solutions for construction projects," said Dominik Tanner as the ceremony came to a close.

Hansgrohe is the only company in the sanitation industry to make it into the top three of the "Best Social Media Presence" category. This award is given in recognition of the communication and information services of the company and its brands that are aimed at specific target groups and utilize Internet media such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube:
