Rugged 10" Tablet PC from LOGIC INSTRUMENT scores with Full HD screen and
4th generation Intel Core CPU.

A reliable companion for all circumstances: LOGIC INSTRUMENTʼs new 10-inch
Fieldbook i1 (FBI1) with Windows 8.1 combines advanced technology and
ruggedness. Operations in the most adverse circumstances are absolutely no
problem for the device. It defies dust, liquids, vibration, shock, salt fog and extreme
temperatures. Even if it is dropped from 1.50 meters (5ft.) height, the Fieldbook i1
remains fully functional. The Tablet PC meets the high requirements of the IP65 and MIL-STD810G standards.

Compact and equipped with the latest technology
The Fieldbook i1 comes with a powerful Intel Core i5 4300U processor with 2.9 GHz turbo frequency and up to 8 GB RAM. Thus, the i1 is perfectly prepared for
demanding applications of tomorrow. Thanks to the Windows 8.1 operating system, a system start takes just a few seconds - very useful and handy in everyday work. And who still wants to rely on Windows 7: No problem, a downgrade is available.

Sharp and brights
The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Protection
and it stands out with its 1920x1200 pixel Full-HD resolution. The brightness is
specified to 1000 Nits what makes the FBI1 easy to read even in bright sunlight or
changing lightning conditions. Thanks to its Dual-Mode display, the FBI1 is finger
operable (even with gloves) and a battery-free digital pen for precise inputs such as digital signatures.

Perfectly prepared for vehicle integration
Two robust mounting solutions are available: a passive mount and an active docking, which supplies the unit with electric current and also provides various I/O interfaces. The FBI1 itself features two antenna pass-through connectors that output signals of the integrated wireless modules such as Wi-Fi, GPS and WWAN to connect external antennas for increased signal strength. In the FieldControl dashboard software, through which the main features of the tablet are regulated, the different output signals can be assigned to the pass-through connectors.

Powered
The Fieldbook I1 comes with a standard 4540mAh battery and an internal backup
that permits to change the battery during operation without shutting down or putting the tablet in standby. Furthermore, an extended battery with 9080mAh will be available end of Q1 2015.

Outstanding connectivity
Whether Paris or New York - the Fieldbook i1 is a real globetrotter. Thanks to the
various 3.5G and 4G modules the i1 can access mobile Internet anywhere in the
world. Its integrated 802.11ac WiFi is up to 3 times faster than the previous version, delivers an expanded range and it now supports the Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. Of course the 802.11ac is compatible to a/b/g/n.

For wired connections the FBI1 can be equipped with 2x USB or 1x USB 3.0 and a serial RS232 interface. Also available is mini HDMI for external screens and a micro SDHD reader for external storage devices.

An integrated professional Intermec EA15 barcode scanner, a FIPS 140-2 compliant Smart Card Reader and RFID NFC complete the overall package.

The MSRP is 2400€ and the Fieldbook i1 is ready to order.
