IndustryWeek's Best Plants program, which honors 10 winners each year, recognizes world-class plants on the leading edge of manufacturing and operational excellence, with ongoing efforts to increase competitiveness, enhance customer satisfaction and create stimulating and rewarding work environments.

Lockheed Martin's Lufkin Operations produces electronics and sub-assemblies for the weapon system.
