LifeSafe is be attending and supporting The Emergency Services Show at the NEC in Birmingham 19 September 2023. TESS highlights innovations from across the emergency services sector, bringing together professionals, experts, and thought leaders with over 16,000 blue light professionals from police, fire and rescue, ambulance, search and rescue, and voluntary sectors. LifeSafe, invited to attend by the Institute of Fire Safety Engineers, will be showcasing their new Thermal Runaway Fluid.

Thermal runaway is one of the primary risks related to lithium-ion batteries and is a phenomenon where the battery cell enters an uncontrollable, self-heating state. LifeSafe's TRF is designed to permanently extinguish and prevent the re-ignition of lithium fires and has been engineered to remove the heat from the lithium fire, therefore making the battery safer post trauma. Lithium-ion batteries are used across a wide variety of everyday products.
