Industries Lassonde : Lassonde Pappas Joins Forces with Apple & Eve

Lassonde Industries Inc. announces that it is combining its U.S. businesses. Effective immediately, Lassonde Pappas & Company, Inc. will join forces with Apple & Eve LLC under the Lassonde Pappas & Company, Inc. name.

'In 2011 and 2014, Lassonde Industries Inc., wrote new chapters in its nearly 100-year history. Today, five years after acquiring Clement Pappas and Co, Inc. and two years following the addition of Apple & Eve LLC, we are ready to move on to another chapter in order to ensure the best possible future for our operations in the U.S.,' said Jean Gattuso, President and Chief Operating Officer of Lassonde Industries Inc.

'By combining the strengths of our branded and private label businesses in the U.S. we will be better positioned to quickly seize opportunities and enhance our competitiveness while continuing to develop new ways to better serve both our customers and our consumers,' he added.

Mark McNeil will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lassonde Pappas & Company, Inc. Mark joined the Lassonde group three years ago as President and CEO of the Lassonde Pappas business and he and his team have significantly grown both the top and bottom line by emphasizing innovation, strong customer relationships as well as driving employee engagement.

Gordon Crane, who founded and has led the Apple & Eve team for the past 42 years, is an accomplished brand and business builder. Gordon created and developed the iconic Apple & Eve brand and logo and has been a true pioneer in the juice industry creating many of the juice products and packaging that today are synonymous with the category. Gordon will be Chief Marketing Officer with responsibilities for brands, innovation, R&D and business development for Lassonde Pappas & Company. Gordon will also be responsible to align enterprise-wide growth and innovation for Lassonde Industries as Chief Growth Officer.

The foundation of Lassonde Industries success over the past 100 years has been built on operational excellence, innovation, customer relationships and the development of great talent. The revised structure of our U.S. business will have an overall category-approach which will help maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness in order to remain relevant and customer-focused in our highly competitive segment.
