Landstar System, Inc. announced operating results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 26, 2020. For the quarter, the company reported loads hauled via BCO Independent Contractors included in total truck transportation was 251,350,000 against 232,120,000 a year ago. Number of loads was 568,870,000 against 505,140,000 a year ago.
For the year, the company reported loads hauled via BCO Independent Contractors included in total truck transportation was 945,210,000 against 954,990,000 a year ago. Number of loads was 2,047,320,000 against 2,083,960,000 a year ago. Total available truck capacity providers was 79,267 against 65,871 a year ago.
Landstar System, Inc. is a technology-enabled, asset-light provider of integrated transportation management solutions delivering specialized transportation services to a range of customers utilizing a network of agents, third-party capacity providers and employees. The Company operates through two segments. Transportation logistics segment provides a range of integrated transportation management solutions.
