Kwan's International Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, total operating revenue was TWD 138.364 million compared to TWD 33.042 million a year ago. Net operating income was TWD 14.546 million compared to TWD 8.987 million a year ago. Loss from continuing operations before tax was TWD 7.444 million compared to income of TWD 4.944 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of parent was TWD 7.444 million compared to net income of TWD 4.944 million a year ago. Basic and diluted loss per share was TWD 0.09 compared to earnings per share of TWD 0.07 a year ago.
For the nine months, total operating revenue was TWD 367.521 million compared to TWD 55.134 million a year ago. Net operating income was TWD 22.062 million compared to operating loss of TWD 9.768 million a year ago. Income from continuing operations before tax was TWD 943,000 compared to TWD 37.410 million a year ago. Income attributable to owners of parent was TWD 943,000 compared to TWD 37.412 million a year ago. and diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.01 compared to TWD 0.54 a year ago.
Kwan's International Co Ltd is principally engaged in the production, distribution and investment of film and television programs in the cultural and creative industries. The Company's business mainly includes commercial performances such as commercial shows in Macau's famous casinos and hotels, ticketed performances such as ticketed concerts and large scale performances, advertising endorsements of artists in print and media formats, film and television productions or brokerage of major artists. The Company provides services mainly in the domestic market and overseas markets.
