Yngve Ruud (Norwegian, born 1964) became the Executive Vice President of Air Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel International AG in 2016. Kuehne+Nagel is one of the world's leading logistics providers and number one in Sea and Air Logistics, based in Switzerland.

Yngve Ruud graduated from the Norwegian School of Management, after having studied IT, Finance and Administration. In the early stages of his career, Yngve Ruud was responsible for

the Operational and Financial management of the Nordic startup Spedition Freja AS, which was acquired by Kuehne+Nagel in 1994.

Yngve Ruud has been part of the Kuehne+Nagel Group since 1990, taking various positions in the Group. For six years, he was the Operational and Finance Manager in his home country Norway, where he later assumed the role of Managing Director. In 2011, he became the Regional Manager for North-West and later Western Europe. Ygnve Ruud led multiple successful acquisitions with the latest being Apex Logistics International, Inc.

During his leadership tenure, Kuehne+Nagel became the number one Air Logistics forwarder worldwide and the business unit further developed and grew with around 10,800 operating staff.
