Kubota Corporation announced title changes of Executive Officers from January 01, 2020. Masato Yoshikawa to the new title of Director and Executive Vice President from current title Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer, Yuji Tomiyama to the new title of Senior Managing Executive Officer from current title Managing Executive Officer, Ryoji Kuroda to the new title of Managing Executive Officer from current title Executive Officer, Eiji Yoshioka to the new title of Managing Executive Officer from current title Executive Officer and Hiroto Kimura to the new title of Managing Executive Officer from current title Executive Officer. New Executive Officers are: Shinichi Fukuhara as General Manager of Environmental Systems Business Unit, Hideki Mori as President of Kubota Engine America Corporation, Junji Ota as General Manager of President's Office, General Manager of Secretary Dept and Takanobu Azuma as General Manager of Sakai Plant.
Kubota Corporation specializes in the manufacturing and marketing of industrial and agricultural machines and water purifying and distribution equipments. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- industrial and agricultural machines (84.9%): tractors, harvesters, transplantors, mowers, etc.;
- water purifying and distribution systems (13.9%): ductile cast iron, steel and plastic pipes, valves, recycling pumps, incinerators, ceramic filters, used water purifiers, etc.;
- other (1.2%): industrial pieces, steel tubes, building machines, etc.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Japan (27.4%), Asia (18.5%), North America (37.3%), Europe (13%) and other (3.8%).
