KSG Agro Agroholding has launched a project to renew the sow population to increase the birth rate of piglets. This news was reported by the press service of the agricultural holding.

KSG Agro agricultural holding's pig farm in Niva Trudova (Apostolovsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region), has started the process of renewal and rejuvenation of the pig population.
According to Sergiy Kasianov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro, about 1000 sows of Danish Dunbred genetics will be purchased under the project in 2021.
'By rejuvenating the herd, we will improve its quality characteristics and replace the herd's main sows. This will help us increase the birth rate of piglets with excellent genetics, 'said Sergiy Kasianov.
