King Jim Co., Ltd. (TSE:7962) agreed to acquire 65.7% stake in Wincess Co.,Ltd. and 100% stake in Winds LLC from Katsuyuki Hashimoto on December 11, 2019. As per the transaction, King Jim Co., Ltd will acquire 631 shares and 60 shares of Wincess Co.,Ltd. and Winds LLC respectively. Post completion, Wincess Co.,Ltd. and Winds LLC will become subsidiaries of King Jim Co., Ltd. The Board of Directors of King Jim Co., Ltd has passed the resolution for the transaction. Completion is scheduled on January 10, 2020. The impact of the transaction on the King Jim Co., Ltd's consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending June 2020 is expected to be minimal.
