VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Oct 1, 2014) - Kazax Minerals Inc. ("Kazax" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KZX) announces the appointment of Oleg Nemodruk as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Nemodruk brings 10 years of experience in metals and mining and corporate finance. Over his career, he has held various positions with a number of leading investment banks and mining companies including such names as ING, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Polyus Gold. From 1997 to 2004, he served with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including a 5 year posting with the Russian Embassy in Spain.

Mr. Nemodruk earned his M.B.A. from the London Business School. He also holds a Masters in Law (Honours) from the Moscow Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in Russia.

Mr. Anthony Samaha has resigned his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Company to pursue other business opportunities. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Samaha for his services and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
