Industry
In line with continued efforts to digitally transform (DT) the long-term care industry, Kanamic Network Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Takuma Yamamoto; hereinafter "the Company") has rolled out "Easy Electronic Payments by Kanamic", a fintech solution for long-term care recipient billing.

With "Easy Electronic Payments by Kanamic", bills to long-term care service recipients that were created with The Company's Cloud Service (including those transmitted over the internet via "Kanamic Easy Web Statements"), can be paid not only through the previous method of bank wire transfer, but now also through fintech solutions including credit card payments, QR Code Payment (PayPay App), and convenience store payments.
Within the long-term care industry, collection of care recipient copayments is encumbered by the enormous operational burden of handling a large volume of bank transfers every month as well as the complexities of dealing with cash payments in cases of bank transfer failures. This results in an enormous amount of work related to cash management and related operations. The Company aims to reduce these operational burdens and allow for quicker collection of payments within the industry by facilitating cashless payments, such as credit card payments. To compliment this, the Kanamic Cloud Service's accounts receivables management tool facilitates the reduction of human errors via its automated clearing functionality.
