"We are alive to challenges the country and the world as a whole is grappling with especially on the need to scale up of the much-needed medical equipment and personnel charged with taking care of the persons affected by the virus," said Juma.
He adds that the fight against the virus is a combined effort where every Kenyan needs to take up the responsibility to combat it.
" We are concerned about the wellbeing of our families, our staff and our communities and we must all work together towards eradicating this virus from our region as quickly as possible and to protect our economy as much as possible," reads Juma's statement.
The insurance firm has also donated 100,000 re-useable masks, 10,000 nasal swabs, 2,500 Virus Test sets to top up to its monies contributions.

According to a statement on Tuesday by chairperson of the Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund Jane Karuku, the donations already hit Sh1.29 billion where the kitty has received Sh917.77 million in cash and Sh370.3 million in kind.
The funds in the kitty are from civil servant salary cuts, wealthy Kenyans, local corporates, multinational companies and development partners.
