Jaypee Infratech Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the development and construction of real estate, mainly comprising residential, commercial, expressway and institutional buildings. The Company comprises only one segment, which is Yamuna Expressway Project. The project inter-alia includes construction of an approximately 165 kilometers (km) long six-lane access-controlled expressway from Greater Noida to Agra with provision for expansion to eight-lane with service roads and associated structures on a build, own, operate and transfer basis. The Concession provides for operation and maintenance of Yamuna Expressway for 36 years, collection of tolls and the rights for development of 25 million square meters of land for residential, commercial, institutional, amusement and industrial purposes on five land parcels along the expressway. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary is Jaypee Healthcare Limited (JHCL).
