Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that it has won three contracts, of which two were worth a total of more than $140 million. One contract was from the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center to provide monitoring and technical assistance for the Federal Railroad Administration Grant and Loan Program. The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award task order contract has a maximum order limit of $70 million.

Also, a joint venture between its newly acquired Sinclair Knight Merz and Thiess will design, construct and commission Western Australia's Water Corporation's East Rockingham Wastewater Treatment Plant under a $73 million contract. Finally, the engineering group also won an oil sands and plant services contract from Suncor Energy Services at its Fort McMurray Base Plant northeast of Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. The terms of the contract were not disclosed.
