Japan's Fair Trade Commission fined Iseki & Co. and four other farm equipment makers a total of JPY 592.53 million for rigging bids for projects to restore greenhouses damaged in the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. The four firms are Daisen Co., Inochio Agri. Inc., Sankin B&G Co. and Watanabe Pipe Co. Iseki was slapped with a surcharge of JPY 315.81 million, Daisen with JPY 103.69 million, Inochio Agri. with JPY 90.14 million, Sankin B&G with JPY 51.45 million and Watanabe Pipe with JPY 31.44 million.
