DEMISE OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHANGES IN COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The board of directors (the "Board") of Interra Resources Limited (the "Company") announces with deep regret that Mr Subianto Arpan Sumodikoro ("Mr Subianto"), a non-independent and non-executive director of the Company, had passed away on 4 January 2017.

The Board and Management of the Company would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late Mr Subianto and wish to express their heartfelt appreciation for Mr Subianto's dedicated service to the Company.

The Board of the Company remains otherwise unchanged.

The announcements containing the prescribed information pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in relation to the cessation of service of Mr Subianto and Mr Pepen Handianto Danuatmadja, Alternate Director to Mr Subianto, will be released separately.
