Intellex Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended February 28, 2013. For the period, the company's net sales were JPY 17,861 million compared to JPY 19,820 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 257 million compared to JPY 234 million a year ago. Ordinary loss was JPY 73 million compared to JPY 243 million a year ago. Loss before income taxes and minority interests was JPY 89.628 million compared to JPY 248.451 million a year ago. Net loss was JPY 73 million or JPY 969.28 per share compared to net income of JPY 201 million or JPY 2,671.39 per share a year ago.
For the year ending May 31, 2013, the company expects net sales JPY 23,886 million, operating income of JPY 544 million, ordinary income of JPY 82 million and net income of JPY 27 million or JPY 371.04 per share.
INTELLEX Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in the real estate business. The Company operates through two business segments. The Pre-owned Condominium Renovation and Distribution segment is engaged in the purchase, renovation and sale of condominiums in the Tokyo metropolitan area, including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba Prefectures. The Other Real Estate Business segment is engaged in the real estate related business such as the trading and leasing of buildings, detached houses and land lots, sales of small-lot real estate commercialization, as well as renovation interior contracting business.
