Hum Network Limited reported unaudited unconsolidated and consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and half year ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, on unconsolidated basis, the company's sales were PKR 1,205.26 million compared to PKR 1,185.89 million a year ago. Profit before taxation was PKR 267.65 million compared to PKR 271.99 million a year ago. Profit after taxation was PKR 248.65 million compared to PKR 231.42 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was PKR 0.26 compared to PKR 0.24 a year ago.
For the half year, on unconsolidated basis, the company's sales were PKR 2,432.41 million compared to PKR 2,269.48 million a year ago. Profit before taxation was PKR 575.59 million compared to PKR 561.78 million a year ago. Profit after taxation was PKR 536.04 million compared to PKR 493.29 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was PKR 0.57 compared to PKR 0.52 a year ago.
For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company's sales were PKR 1,336.63 million compared to PKR 1,230.54 million a year ago. Profit before taxation was PKR 300.59 million compared to PKR 246.99 million a year ago. Profit after taxation was PKR 281.7 million compared to PKR 206.42 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was PKR 0.30 compared to PKR 0.22 a year ago.
For the half year, on consolidated basis, the company's sales were PKR 2,695.1 million compared to PKR 2,409.72 million a year ago. Profit before taxation was PKR 631.52 million compared to PKR 534.36 million a year ago. Profit after taxation was PKR 591.98 million compared to PKR 465.87 million a year ago.
