Hong Yi Fiber Ind. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 514.271 million compared to TWD 471.652 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 51.429 million compared to TWD 37.652 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 37.024 million compared to TWD 39.415 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.28 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,025.100 million compared to TWD 1,003.964 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 110.441 million compared to TWD 97.874 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 87.102 million compared to TWD 89.174 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.66 compared to TWD 0.67 a year ago.
HONG YI FIBER IND. CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and marketing of textured polyester yarns. The products of the Company include ultra-fine finished fiber yarns, full-dull yarns, colorful three tone yarns, environmental friendly finished yarns and yarns for layered cloth.
