Heritage Global Inc. announced the launch of Heritage Global Patents & Trademarks, its newly formed Intellectual Property division for the sale of patents, trademarks and other intangible assets. HGPT complements and expands Heritage Global's existing asset valuation, advisory, and auction capabilities by adding new service offerings to effectively market and monetize clients' IP and intangible assets.
In conjunction with the launch of Heritage Global Patents & Trademarks, twenty-five year auction industry veteran Doug Berman has been appointed Director of the new division. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing HGPT's operations including developing and growing its customer base and implementing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies on behalf of clients. An accomplished industry veteran, Mr. Berman has extensive experience in IP and real estate auction services, sales management and new business development.
Heritage Global Inc. is an asset services company specializing in financial and industrial asset transactions. The Company provides a full suite of services, including market making, acquisitions, refurbishment, dispositions, valuations and secured lending.
