H&M reports that net sales reached SEK 62.6 billion in Q4, virtually unchanged from Q4 2022 (SEK 62.4 billion).

Quarterly operating profit more than quintupled from SEK 821 million to SEK 4332 million, with an operating margin of 6.9% versus 1.3% a year earlier.

Quarterly profit after tax came to SEK 1,576 million, compared with a loss of SEK 864 million a year earlier, corresponding to EPS of SEK 0.97, versus SEK -0.53 a year earlier.

For the full year 2023, H&M sees net sales rise by 6% to SEK 236 bn from SEK 223 bn twelve months earlier, with annual profit after tax up 145% to SEK 8723 m from SEK 3566 m in 2022.
EPS is thus 5.35 SEK vs. 2.16 SEK in 2022.
