GWG Holdings, Inc. is a financial services company. The Company is engaged in providing liquidity solutions and services for the owners of illiquid investments. The Company, through its subsidiary, GWG Life, LLC, conducts its life insurance secondary market business. Its segments include Secondary Life Insurance and Beneficient. The Secondary Life Insurance segment seeks to earn non-correlated yield from its portfolio of life insurance policies. Beneficient segment consists of the assets and operations of Ben LP and its subsidiaries. Ben LP provides a variety of trust services, liquidity products for owners of alternative assets and illiquid investment funds, and other financial services to mid-to-high-net-worth individuals (MHNW) individuals. Its activities include holding company financing and investing activities, management and administrative services to support the overall operations of the Company, and its equity method investment in FOXO Technologies Inc.
