On the occasion of Abu Dhabi World Health Week, the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health (DoH) announced today that it has signed an agreement with GSK to create a regional vaccine distribution center in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

The aim of the agreement is to optimize healthcare, facilitate knowledge exchange and strengthen collaboration between GSK and the United Arab Emirates.

According to Boyd Chongphaisal, GSK's representative in the Gulf, this initiative will help meet the growing demand for vaccines in the region.

It 'underscores our commitment to innovation, technological advancement and sustainability in the healthcare sector, contributing to the well-being of our local population and those in need around the world', he added.
