 Bruno de Pontfarcy appointed Director of Security and operational Coordination
                              from 20 January 2010
Bruno  de Pontfarcy, ex Captain in the French  Navy, is a graduate of the French
Naval Academy, in Brest.
He  spent the first 15 years of his career  as a fighter pilot, flying the Super
Etendard for 15 years from aircraft carriers in the French Navy and subsequently
Tornado in the United Kingdom and Germany. Between 1995 and 1998 he commanded an
operational  squadron of fighters and then  ran the naval fighter pilot training
school.  In 1998 he became  responsible for the  operational services of a naval
air  base, which required him to  coordinate the aeronautical activities of five
groups, both on land and on board aircraft carriers and to become project leader
for  the construction  of a  squadron of  planes Rafale. Between 2003 and 2009,
Bruno de Pontfarcy worked at the Prefecture, in Brest, with responsibility for a
maritime safety and security centre, for which he planned and managed operations
before taking on a project management role.
This   appointment   reinforces   Eurotunnel's  existing  security  arrangements
particularly  inthe framework of preparation for the 2012 Olympic games with the
public authorities.
