(Alliance News) - Good Energy Group PLC on Wednesday said it is now the energy supplier for Myenergi Ltd's headquarters and manufacturing facilities, after the manufacturer switched the energy supply of its business operations.

Good Energy is a Chippenham, England-based renewable electricity supplier and energy services provider, while Myenergi is a Lincolnshire, England-based designer and manufacturer of renewable energy products that increase the self-consumption of green energy.

According to the new deal, Myenergi's electricity usage will now be backed by renewable power purchase agreements from Good Energy's generators "across 90% of the time".

"As an innovative business which is helping customers cut their carbon by shifting how and when they use energy in their homes, Myenergi naturally understood the importance of energy data and flexing demand," said Tom Parsons, director of sales and origination at Good Energy.

"Good Energy supplying Myenergi's headquarters and manufacturing operations with hourly-matched renewables creates the kind of carbon-reducing circular approach we need to see everywhere across all industries."

Shares in Good Energy were trading 1.3% higher at 267.51 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
