Godavari Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (GFCL) is engaged in manufacturing and distributing diammonium phosphate (DAP) and other complex fertilizers under the Godavari brand. In March 2007, the Company completed construction of a 10,000 metric tons atmospheric ammonia storage tank at the Kakinda Plant. It operates in markets, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, its total production was approximately 11.35 tons.
