Galliford Try announced that its Highways business has been appointed to a £85 million contract with Leicestershire County Council to build the new North East Melton Mowbray Distributor Road. The project, procured through the Midlands Highways Alliance and part-funded by the Department for Transport, will see a new road built to connect branches of the A606 around the north east edge of Melton Mowbray, creating a new through route and reducing congestion in the town centre.
