FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Airport operator Fraport is expanding its U.S. business in Washington, the nation's capital. Starting next year, the Frankfurt-based company will market the hospitality and retail space in the Washington Dulles International and Ronald Reagan National airport terminals. The concession from the airport authority has a term of ten years, the MDax group reported in Frankfurt on Thursday. Each of the two airports is used by more than 21 million passengers a year and each has about 11,000 square meters of commercial space. Fraport is already active in the U.S. as a center manager at two New York airports as well as in Baltimore, Cleveland and Nashville./ceb/DP/jha
