Fidelity National Information Services Inc. on Thursday said James Woodall plans to step down as corporate executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Nov. 4.

The Jacksonville, Fla., financial-services technology company said Erik Hoag, currently deputy chief financial officer, will succeed Mr. Woodall as chief financial officer on that date.

Fidelity National said Mr. Woodall, who joined the company in 2008 and has been chief financial officer since 2013, will remain as chief financial officer emeritus through a transition period.

Mr. Hoag, who joined Fidelity National in 2008, became deputy chief financial officer in January.
