Datuk Yoo was the Political Secretary to the Minister of Health in 2008 and in 2014, he was a Senator at the Upper House for the Parliament of Malaysia. Then, in 2018, he took on the role of Managing Director at PRG Agro Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PRG Holding Berhad.Datuk Yoo has over two decades of extensive experience encompassing marketing, business development, public relations, training, and a diverse array of other fields. He has held various senior roles in a range of industries ranging from food and beverages, real estate, training, research, oil and gas and plantation companies.
In the past few years, Datuk Yoo has actively participated in logging, teak wood plantation, timber export, Albizia planting, pineapple plantation, fruit branding and marketing, durian plantation,durian export and packaging.
